Finding My Gift in Personal Styling
As a Christian, I always believe that our gifts come from God, even when we don’t immediately recognize them. For me, personal styling was one of those gifts. I’ve always had a natural sense of style, mixing colors and textures with ease, but I didn’t realize it was a true gift until my friends started noticing. “You have such an eye for fashion,” they’d say. “You should be styling people!” At first, I thought it was just a compliment, but the more I heard it, the more I realized there was something deeper to it.
As I began helping friends pick out outfits for special events or everyday wear, I saw the impact styling had on how they felt about themselves. It wasn’t just about clothes; it was about confidence, comfort, and expressing who they truly were. I began to embrace my gift and started styling a variety of women—everyday women, professional women, career women, stay-at-home moms, retirees, and women who had experienced body changes. Each woman had her own story, and each one deserved to feel beautiful, empowered, and confident, no matter her stage of life.
For me, personal styling isn’t just about the latest trends or the perfect outfit. It’s about helping women express their unique beauty in a way that aligns with their values and lifestyle. Whether they’re stepping into a new career, embracing motherhood, or simply navigating life changes, my goal is to help them feel good in their own skin; when at the work place, at home, doing school runs, meeting friends for brunch or going to an event. This gift I’ve been blessed with has become my calling—to serve women from all walks of life and help them learn and discover that dressing well does not have to be a laborious, complicated chore.
